Urgent Need of M-Governance

What is M-governance?
Aiming to provide service to target community by using the mobile technology is called M-governance. Under m-governance there are all types of wireless technologies and devices. The main aim of the m-governance is to support and promote to e-governance in easy and more effective way.
There are five levels of interaction in m-governance, they are government to community (G to C), Government to Business (G to B), Government to Government (G to G), Community to Government (C to G). To make linkage among the given cirlces, the various agencies provide services as internet, mobile, computer, pda, wireless network and other form of web-based application and as a result service information is flowed as effective as state plans. In this way, m-governance is not alternative of e-governance but supportive to each other.
What are the purposes of e-governance?
There are four major objectives under m-governance, they are M-communication, m-services, m-democracy and m-administration. First the meaning of m-communication is to flow the information regarding every aspects of activities that are really useful and important to all citizens. As for example road tax renew notice, passport renew notice, weather report, parliamentary notice, licence renew notice, result display, court notice and agro-based notice are related to m-communication. And the second one is m-services, under this service more then information, citizen can get opportunity to pay tax, book ticket, bill payment work are possible through smart mobile technology. Third pillar of m-governance is m-democracy, where people can directly vote through mobile application and can determine the policy and political system of the nation. The next pillar of m-governance is m-administration, where the public organization flow their service through mobile or wireless technology as for example company registration, tax clearance, auditing, online bidding and so on. As a result time is saved and work is transparent and effective.
The benefits of M-governments are given as follows:
a. Economy
b. Start modern trends in governmental agencies
c. Easy to work out and show efficiency
d. Reach more access to citizens
e. Access to wireless internet technology for citizens
f. Reduces corruption, nepotism, and hello effects.
g. Develop in work efficiency for the perfect work.
Conclusion:
For this people should aware about internet technology and websites. And they also should the value of e-governance and the idea, how can they use the concept effectively. As for example, how a normal farmer can get the benefits from internet and mobile technology? And is he able to know the daily rate value of vegetables, rate value of seeds, and the process of using fertilizer and time schedule of farming for rural area. And how the company is registered through online, and what is the payment mode through online and how is it possible to pay staying inside the room. And what is the way of being day to day update in mobile devices. These all questions are to be addressed.
